October 2024 Release
Brakes
We added the possibility to measure brakes on wings. In the "Start Measurement" screen after entering the loops on your wing, you can select if you would like to include brakes into your measurement routine or not.
While we have updated already more than 100 variants with brake data, you might realize, that you might not have the option to select brake measurement on your wing. Please send us a message to let us know, you need it in this case.
In-line validation
To give you a direct feedback during your measurement and before starting to trim, we added in-line validation. As you already know, the system gives you direct feedback about implausible values in colors and black.
Now, also minima and maxima of single lines in a group that defere from each other by more than the manufacturer's tolerance (typically 10mm) are framed with a red dashed line.
And: consistency is checked as well. Groups that defere from the baseline by more than 20mm are highlighted in the same way. The baseline is the median of deviations of all readings from their nominal values.
Only if no implausibilities are found, the "continue" button will appear in green.
Review of measurement before trimming
To make sure the basis for trimming your wing is correct by correcting wrong measurement values or identifying potential errors in linemap data before starting with the simulation and trimming, a "Review" dialog was introduced. Here you get an overview on the implausible values within a group or bigger deviations between groups.
These could be a sign of inaccurate measuring setup/technique or swapped line map points or issues with the linemap data.
For better data integrity we therefore removed the "return to measurement"-option from the simulation.
Line map point highlighting
When a single point is selected as reference (ref) in the measurement view as well as in the simulation and results, the color highlights are now also shown in the wing to give you a fast overview on which lines might be off.
Grouping of measurements in comparison
The comparison protocol now gives you a full overview of changes that have been done between two measurements, e.g. incoming inspection and final measurement, with timestamps.
This ensures that you have the full list of changes (such as line inserts, cascade loops and line comments) between the incoming inspection and your final validation measurement during a trim session, even if you did trimming and validation in multiple steps.
Fix for issue when remeasuring only single lines or groups
Previousely, when resetting only single groups for measuring them again e.g. after trimming, the "Reset last value" button was always deleting the last value in the standard order of lines in the linemap.
This was changed so that always the last value that you've actually measured will be reset (LIFO).
